PCLAPA was founded in 1996 with the mission to provide comprehensive cleft care to children born with cleft lip and palate. As a super specialty of plastic surgery, cleft surgery is very expensive worldwide, and at that time there was no organization in Pakistan providing treatment for such children.

PCLAPA enjoys the patronage of internationally renowned cleft surgeons who have been visiting Pakistan twice a year for the past 25 years to provide teaching and training to our local plastic surgeons.

We have a multidisciplinary team that provides international-standard cleft treatment under one roof. We are grateful to our donors for continuously supporting us in achieving our goals.
